If I told you it was possible to drop your cancer risk by a massive 77% using simple, cheap supplements, you’d be sceptical, right?
And if I told you it costs less than R1.00 per day, you’d think me crazy.
Doubt no more.
Exciting new research conducted at the Creighton University School of Medicine in Nebraska revealed that a combo of vitamin D3 and calcium reduced risk of cancer by an astonishing 77 percent (see below). This includes breast cancer, colon cancer, skin cancer and other forms of cancer.
This research provides strong new evidence that vitamin D is the single most effective molecule to lower cancer risk, far outpacing the benefits of any cancer drug known to modern science.
OK, that’s cancer done and dusted.
But what if I told you vitamin D proved to be as effective (or more effective) than the flu shot?
Again, at a fraction of the cost of a flu shot (and no risk whatsoever).
Or if I told you that Vitamin D3 had potent anti-diabetic activity? Every diabetic should be on high dose Vitamin D3.
Or that the same vitamin had significant benefit in the treatment of depression?
Or that a lack of Vitamin D3 in pregnant mothers was associated with a significant increased risk for infection in their newborn? And, conversely, that children born to Vitamin D-supplemented mothers, had virtually no risk of such infections?
The “sunshine vitamin” is the single cheapest, most valuable supplement money can buy.
Are you using it? At the correct dosage?
Despite mounting evidence, governments go out of their way to make it harder for you to get vitamin D3 at the correct dosage. By advocating a low “recommended daily intake” (RDI), the proper dosage is classified as a scheduled medicine in many countries. Meaning: you need a doctor’s prescription to get it. How crazy is that?
Did somebody say “doctor”? Good thing I’m around!
We can offer you a special “Mega D3” pill bottle at R149 for SIX MONTHS‘ supply. That’s 25 pills. Yes, you only need to drink one pill every week. Since they’re purple, I drink them on Mondays (my “blue Monday” pill – men are colour blind).
Every pill contains 50,000 IU of Vitamin D3, which works out to about 7,000 IU / day. That’s a lot higher than our esteemed government recommends, but it is smack bang where science points to.
And please don’t tell me you get Vitamin D3 out of sunshine. Most of us hardly see real sunshine anymore, since we’re working indoors all day. And when outdoors, we wear hats and long sleeves.
And if you’re using a sunscreen when you’re outside, your skin struggles to convert Vitamin D2 into D3.
What is more, our need for Vitamin D3 increases the older we get, while the elderly stay indoors more than the young.
All this means we’re lacking in Vitamin D3.
Winter is coming. That means even less sunshine, more indoors and more flu’s and colds. It means more depression for many.
Time to get ready!
Frequently Asked Questions
- Isn’t the high dose dangerous?
Almost the only known side effect of Vitamin D overdose is headache. If your Vitamin D blood levels are adequate and you take extra Vitamin D, you will feel a dull headache the next day. Solution: take it every second week.

– Some prescription medications can interact with Vitamin D. If in doubt, consult your prescribing doctor.

Otherwise healthy individuals: 6 months per year (winter months)
People with special conditions: Continually
- Anything else I should know?
– Vitamin D3 is best taken together with some fatty or oily food, to enhance absorption of the vitamin. Peanut butter, or coconut oil or full cream milk are all potential options.

Research Note
The study involved 1,179 healthy women from rural Nebraska. One group of women was given calcium (around 1500 mg daily) and vitamin D (1100 IU daily) while another group was given placebo. Over four years, the group receiving the calcium and vitamin D supplements showed a 60% decrease in cancers. Considering just the last three years of the study reveals an impressive 77 percent reduction in cancer due to supplementation. Past research places a question mark over the usefulness of calcium supplementation, thus the effect is most likely due primarily to the Vitamin D3 supplementation.
